Looking for a challenge where your skills will be tested and your experience impacts people and mission At KBR we are seeking an experienced Product Assurance Engineer supporting the Javelin Product Office in Huntsville AL. The Product Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that systems products and processes meet the Department of Defenses stringent quality standards and requirements. This role involves evaluating testing and monitoring the development and sustainment of Javelin systems equipment and software to ensure compliance with contractual regulatory and operational specifications. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop and implement quality assurance plans procedures and metrics for DoD programs. Monitor manufacturing testing and sustainment processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Compliance Verification: Ensure compliance with DoD regulations such as MIL-STD-883 MIL-STD-810 and ISO standards. Conduct audits and inspections of systems processes and deliverables.
  • Testing and Validation: Perform functional performance and reliability testing on defense systems and equipment. Validate that systems meet technical specifications and mission requirements.
  • Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify document and track defects or non-conformances. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed quality reports test results and compliance documentation. Maintain records of inspections audits and certifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with program managers engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve quality processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering quality management or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years experience in the quality assurance field
  • Experience with the Javelin product office
  • Knowledge of DoD standards and regulations
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of defense systems and operational requirements
  • Ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment
