JOB SUMMARY:
The Truck Owner Team Leader I is responsible for the overall technical training scheduling and support to the Customer Prep team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Lead the truck owner team Customer Prep
- Publish and maintain technical trouble shooting guides
- Train coach and mentor team members on troubleshooting and repair processes
- Lead day-to-day activities within their Customer Prep team to ensure that customer acceptance schedules are achieved
- Lead team-based process improvement activities
- Create Customer Prep team schedules
- Collect and analyze quality data to improve processes and develop training
- Communicate with customers and have open discussions about issues with the product
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- One (1) or more years of related experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) or more years of experience at Pierce Manufacturing
- Experience in lean manufacturing principals such as value streams 5S 7 general types of waste and project planning
- Capable of utilizing Microsoft Excel
