Position Overview
The Financial Specialist will play a critical role in managing budgets forecasts and financial reports while providing data-driven insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of financial principles experience in financial modeling and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monitor and analyze monthly quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts.

Develop financial models and conduct variance analysis.

Create accurate financial reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement.

Support audit compliance and regulatory requirements as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to management.

Recommend improvements to existing processes tools and systems.
Requirements
-
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.

25 years of experience in financial analysis planning or accounting.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables formulas modeling).

Familiarity with accounting software and financial tools (e.g. QuickBooks Xero NetSuite SAP or similar).

Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications

CPA CFA or equivalent certification (or working toward it) is a plus.

Experience in SaaS e-commerce or startups.

Knowledge of financial automation tools and dashboards (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
