Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT training a passion for teaching and a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective sessions across a range of CompTIA certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver official CompTIA training courses (e.g. A Network Security CySA CASP) to IT professionals and corporate clients.
- Develop and deliver customized training programs tailored to client needs and learning objectives.
- Facilitate hands-on labs simulations and interactive sessions to reinforce learning.
- Stay updated with CompTIA certification updates exam objectives and best practices.
- Mentor learners pursuing CompTIA certifications and provide guidance on exam preparation.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to enhance course materials and lab environments.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of training materials manuals and documentation.
- Design and administer examinations and assessments to evaluate trainee performance.
- Support marketing and sales teams in promoting CompTIA training offerings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) credential.
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in IT training and technical instruction.
- Proven track record of delivering CompTIA certification training across various domains.
- Strong understanding of core IT concepts including hardware networking security and troubleshooting.
- Excellent presentation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
- Ability to adapt training delivery to different learning styles and technical levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for on-site training engagements.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Additional CompTIA certifications (e.g. Security CySA CASP PenTest).
- Experience with other certification bodies (e.g. Cisco Microsoft AWS).
- Familiarity with virtual labs and e-learning platforms.
- Ability to create interactive and multimedia training materials.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum).
- Experience in course development examination and assessment.
