Job Description
Introduction
Based in Johannesburg R25 000 CTC Benefits
Pace Auto Bodyis looking for a motivated and skilled Assessor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in vehicle damage assessment and repair environments looking to take the next step in their career with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess vehicle damage and verify accuracy of repair quotations
Compile detailed claims reports and liaise with internal teams
Determine settlement values and identify write-offs
Conduct salvage evaluations and document inventory
Investigate accident claims against actual vehicle damage
Maintain records upload supporting documentation and images
Communicate with clients intermediaries service providers and brokers
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
VDQ (Vehicle Damage Quantifier) Qualification (Essential)
Mechanical Engineering / Panel Beating N2/N3 (Advantageous)
Audatex / Abuntex training (Advantageous)
Experience:
24 years in a motor industry claims or panel beating environment (Advantageous)
Exposure to spray painting mechanical and electrical repairs
Customer-facing or front-line experience
Estimating or assessing in a repair or insurance context
