Job Description

The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for a Property Operations / Facilities Coordinatorto join the team!

Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a$400M renovationand expansion the resort is more stunning than on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.

What I will be doing

The HotSOS Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring timely effective and guest-focused service delivery by managing and monitoring the hotels HotSOS (Hotel Service Optimization System). This position is responsible for tracking service tickets assigning tasks to the appropriate departments following up on completion and closing out service requests. The Coordinator acts as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and task execution contributing to operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.


Monitor the HotSOS dashboard for incoming service tickets in real time.

Assign and dispatch tickets to the appropriate departments or team members based on priority and type of request.

Ensure timely follow-up on open tickets and escalate delays or unresolved issues to the appropriate manager.

Close out completed tickets and ensure proper documentation and notes are entered.

Communicate and coordinate tasks with Housekeeping Engineering Front Office and other departments to ensure prompt resolution.

Analyze recurring issues and trends to support process improvement initiatives.

Provide regular reports on ticket volume response times and resolution status to management.

Assist with training staff on proper use of the HotSOS system if needed.

Serve as the system super user and liaise with the vendor or IT team for troubleshooting and updates.

Maintain a professional and responsive approach to internal and guest-related service requests.
