Position Purpose:
To identify and onboard new customers by representing and selling DEACON pipe wraps and other ancillary DEACON and Jet Lube products with a primary focus in the Pipeline segment and additional focus in the Civil/Concrete and Petro Chem/Refining markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify prospect and onboard new end user service providers that specialize in pipe wrap technologies as needed to achieve market share and revenue goals.
- Work with distributors and end users to unearth opportunities and provide sales and technical support for projects.
- Identify and participate as an exhibitor in applicable Industry trade shows and conferences.
- Present company value proposition benefits and features of our pipe wrap technology to target end users to peak their interest and to ultimately accept the product.
- Manage new contracts and negotiations.
- Works well with technical and marketing teams to utilize customer insights and market intelligence.
- Provide written reports and presentations to DEACON management and prospects as required.
- Utilize company CRM tool to manage pipeline of opportunities.
- Provide product training and field support to service companies and end users.
- Collect competitive intelligence and report to DEACON to help drive success with DEACON programs products etc.
- Develop and maintain performance-oriented sales initiatives establishing and updating a sales pipeline visible to management at all times.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years Technical Sales experience with Pipe Wraps in the Pipeline Industry is required.
- Ability to work independently and strong organizational skills to manage time territory and resources effectively.
- Willing to travel >50%
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter with a high sense of urgency
- Strong follow-through skills to close leads and action items.
- An active listener who continues to learn while pulling others to collaborate in achieving global objectives A collaborative style.
