Job Description

The Director Test Lead is a key role within the Retirement Transformation team reporting directly to the Command Centre Lead of Retirement Transformation. This position is responsible for leading and supporting testing initiatives for projects within the Retirement division.

The primary focus of this role is to lead comprehensive end-to-end testing efforts across a large-scale transformation program. The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record in the US Retirement industry with expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) modern testing tools and Agile delivery environments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle the planning strategy design and execution of test scenarios and cases.

  • Lead defect resolution and collaborate with business partners product owners and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Utlize JIRA or other testing software tools for test management tracking and reporting.

  • Implement standard processes in test data preparation test automation and regression testing.

  • Provide detailed reporting on test progress quality metrics and risk assessment to leadership.

  • Conduct regular testing meetings and status updates for the working team and the management team.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of QA/testing experience in progressively senior positions with at least 8-10 years as a Test Lead.

  • Strong understanding of the US Retirement industry with an understanding of regulatory requirements and emerging trends.

  • Hands-on experience with SAFe Agile Methodology PI planning and Agile ceremonies.

  • Proficiency in JIRA and test management tools as well as test automation tools.

  • Experience in building repeatable test processes incorporating feature development into test plans and running the execution of testing across various types of technologies.

  • Assess operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the potential impact on business operations.

  • Excellent analytical communication and partner management skills.

  • Proven track record to work across multiple teams and manage testing in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range is expected to be between

$120750.00 USD - $217350.00 USD
