Job Description

Are you an experiencedMulti Skill Trades Carpenter who is great at delivering high quality Kitchens

Platform Property Care has an opportunity for an experiencedMulti Skill Trades Carpenter to join our busy team of Kitchen Fitters and Bathroom Fitters and help us maintain and improve our homes in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

What could you be doing

You will excel at fitting kitchens and completing other associated carpentry tasks and you will be ensuring our customers homes are maintained and repaired to a great standard.

Based in Worcester Evesham Gloucester and Tewkesburycarpentry will be yourmain focusbut experience in other trades isdefinitely a must for this will need to have proven experience of fitting and installing complete be skilled in fitting latex floors tiling and plastering too.

We want somebody who can:

A team player youll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. Youll be working in peoples homes so youll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.

We want someone who:

Is experienced in fitting Kitchen and Bathrooms to a high-level quality finish. Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting will be your main job and this experience will be essential for you to be considered for this role.

  • Minimum NVQ L2 Carpentry qualified
  • Experience of working as a multi trade carpenter in the building trade
  • Experience of working for a Social Landlord housing association or council
  • Possess a skill level to successfully deliver 1st and 2nd fix plumbing is essential.
  • Associated trade skills of latex floor laying plastering and wall tiling would also be essential.
  • Experience of delivering multi-trade work
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience of keeping jobs on track
  • The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently.
  • Full driving Licence
  • As you will be working within Customers homes this role requires a DBS check.

There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.

This role is a permanent contract with Platform Housing Group/ Platform Property Care working predominantly on a contract supplying repairs and maintenance to Rooftop Housing Group.

This role is mobile so it is essential you have a current valid driving licence. Unfortunately we cannot progress applications from applicants who do not hold this.
