We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commis II to join our culinary team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a Commis II you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and chef specifications
- Organize and maintain cleanliness in the assigned work area
- Operate various kitchen equipment including braising pans baking ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
- Prepare ingredients by portioning chopping and storing food items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen activities
- Support senior kitchen staff in daily operations and special culinary events
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Contribute to menu development and implementation of new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service periods
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary diploma preferred
- 12 years of experience in a highvolume kitchen or fullservice hotel
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering highquality dishes
