EV Charger Senior Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary: The incumbent goal is to lead the maintenance and repair of EV charging infrastructure ensuring compliance with safety standards & regulatory requirements and providing technical guidance & support to staff.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for EV charging infrastructure conducting routine inspections & repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with EV charging equipment collaborating with external vendors & suppliers as needed
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers & maintenance staff
- Develop and implement technical procedures & standards for EV charging infrastructure maintenance ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe operations
- Develop and implement safety procedures & protocols for maintenance staff
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics for EV charging infrastructure identifying areas for improvement & implementing quality initiatives
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure lofty standards
- Report on quality and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Manage smallscale projects related to EV charging infrastructure maintenance and upgrade developing & maintaining detailed project schedules
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables allocating resources effectively to meet project demands
- Monitor and control project budgets and timelines identifying potential project risks & developing mitigation strategies
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members contractors and clients
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders including Kahrama representatives
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Minimum Required Qualifications Certificates & Skills
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Work Experience - Minimum 7 years in maintenance and repair of electrical equipment preferably in the transportation sector with
23 year’s GCC experience in a similar or equivalent role within a highly reputed company
Certificates & Trainings
Any relevant certification or training such as:
- Certified Electrical Engineer (CEE)
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
