Key Responsibilities
- Lead investigations and manage escalated employee relations issues
- Oversee compliance audits and legal documentation
- Support recruiting and onboarding processes
- Coordinate with IT and supervisors for new hire setup
- Assist with compliant benefits and leave of absence documentation
- Automate HR workflows
Qualifications
- Effectively oversee every hiring process to adapt to evolving business needs ensuring both compliance and smooth operations.
- Conduct and document workplace investigations handling employee concerns and resolving issues as they arise
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies through regular audits and reviews
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes making sure all necessary paperwork and requirements are met
- Coordinate with other departments to set up new employees with necessary resources and access
- Coordinate the management of employee benefits and support leave of absence requests keeping all records accurate and up to date
- Maintain and update HR records in the organizations systems ensuring information remains secure and current
- Address HR-related questions from employees and managers providing guidance as needed
- 5 years of HR experience preferably in property management or compliance-heavy industries
- Bachelors Degree or HR Certificate
- Strong knowledge of California labor law and HRIS systems
- Proven ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
