Overall Description:
Plans implements directs and monitors behavioral health services and programs for all ages. Manages daily administrative processes and operations. Provides support and administrative oversight to professional and paraprofessional staff in each of the organizations locations.
General Responsibilities:
- Directs continuous learning (evidence based and the latest innovation in Behavioral Health) for clinical staff.
- Assist the program in developing additional service lines that will enhance the financial foundation of the organization.
- Identifies capacities needed (skill set and competencies) to achieve programmatic and organization goals.
- Increases agencys public profile by serving as a spokesperson and advocate as well as a visible and influential leader in behavioral health
- Utilizations review chart audits and clinical reviews based on regulatory standards.
Specific Responsibilities:
Daily:
- Serve as one of the CMBHS Security Admins
- Create tickets for Staff issues
- On-call CMBHS troubleshooter for employees and Clinicians
- Add/deactivate CMBHS accounts
- Process all client discharges within CMBHS
- Monthly - Maintain CANS/ANSA Company Expiration Tracker(must update CANS/ANSA cert. date within CMBHS; otherwise staff will be locked out from completing new reassessments within the system)
- On-Call Crisis Intervention
- On-call to Clinicians to troubleshoot Clinical concerns staffing of cases or CMBHS ineligibility troubleshooting
- Review all discharge summaries submitted by QMHP/CSSPand ensure sufficiently filled and discharge reason listed
- Process client discharges within Sharenote
- Briefly reviewing all documents received by Clinicians QMHPs and CSSPs to ensure:
- Each CANS/ANSA is marked close complete
- Dates correlate to current authorization period without gaps in service
- Ensuring goals on Progress Summaries are a full description
- Remove clients from caseload of QMHPs who are past-due on Reassessments
Weekly & Bi-Weekly
- Process and submit clinician payroll
- Clinician audits
- Audit biopsychosocial treatment plan CANS/ANSA to ensure Clinicians continue to uphold audit standards
- Review each QMHP caseload (on Reassessment Tracker) & cross verify with Sharenote caseload to ensure all clients are listed and no one falls through the cracks
- Present Report on Leadership Meeting
- Facilitate weekly Leadership Meetings
- Check to ensure each client has dx attached to Sharenote profile
- Fill in dx to missing profiles on Sharenote
- Add/deactivate Sharenote accounts
Monthly/As Needed
- Clinician Meetings
- Send a monthly list of reassessments that need to be completedto contracted staff person
- Facilitate staff write-ups (QMHPs who miss 2 supervisions a month QMHPs late on reassessmentsand other things along the way
- When a client has been discharged from an organization put in CANS/ANSA Assessments that were completed by the clinician into CMBHS
Outreach Department Activities:
To play an active role in the community outreach department by attending events meetings and keeping accurate numbers of organizational census.
