Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst / Product Owner Digital & eCommerce (Onsite Las Vegas NV)
Location: Las Vegas NV (hybrid)
Industry: Casino & Hospitality

Our client a prominent global leader in casino and hospitality is looking for a skilled Business Analyst/Product Owner to lead the strategy and execution of their booking engine platform. This critical role will be focused on enhancing digital guest-facing technology initiatives specifically in eCommerce platforms booking engines and loyalty systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in gathering and translating business requirements managing product backlogs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital product development with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on casino booking engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders from business IT marketing and operations to define analyze and document business requirements for the booking engine and related digital platforms.
  • Serve as the product owner for the booking engine platform driving the vision and prioritization of new features and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories to support product development and QA teams.
  • Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and meet customer needs.
  • Facilitate requirement review sessions sprint planning and user story grooming with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing booking engine systems and processes recommending improvements for scalability user experience and efficiency.
  • Support eCommerce booking engines loyalty programs and mobile initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage product backlog prioritizing features and working with development teams to deliver features in line with the strategic goals.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from discovery through deployment ensuring timely and effective delivery of digital products.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to assist in the development of test cases and ensure solutions meet expectations during UAT.

Preferred Experience:
  • 5 years as a Business Analyst/Product Owner with experience in digital product development specifically eCommerce and booking engines.
  • Strong background in casino hospitality or travel industry with a focus on casino booking engines or similar guest-facing platforms.
  • Proven experience managing product backlogs and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with loyalty programs mobile-first product development and other digital products for the hospitality or casino industry.
  • Strong documentation skills including BRDs PRDs user stories wireframes and process flows.
  • Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment balancing business needs and technical constraints.
