Job Description: MES Software Engineer/Sr. Consultant / Consultant

The job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MES Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# MS SQL Server JavaScript and RESTful Web APIs along with hands-on experience or understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement scalable MES solutions supporting manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain applications using C# .NET Framework/Core and Web APIs
Create and optimize SQL Server queries stored procedures and database schemas
Implement responsive and interactive front-end components using JavaScript HTML and CSS
Integrate with external systems (e.g. SAP PLCs SCADA) as part of MES architecture
Participate in requirements gathering system design and code reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in manufacturing environments
Collaborate with process engineers and production teams to understand MES requirements
Ensure best practices in coding security and system performance
Maintain detailed technical documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
6 years of hands-on experience in C# .NET Web API development & MES
Proficient in MS SQL Server including T-SQL stored procedures and performance tuning
Strong experience in JavaScript and front-end development
Experience or exposure to MES systems (e.g. Aveva/Wonderware Rockwell FT Siemens Opcenter etc.) having AVEVA MES technical stack experience is a plus
Understanding of manufacturing processes production workflows and shop floor integration Familiarity with OPC PLC communication and industrial data protocols is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of ISA-95 21 CFR Part 11 or GMP compliance
Experience with reporting tools dashboards or historian systems
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
