Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
- To support the vision of becoming a data driven organisation by delivering Data and Analytics products which form the engine that manages and processes data for the organisation.
- To act as competency lead for the Data Engineering function in the Client Value product line.
Qualifications and experience:
- 5 years data warehousing experience at product development level Or
- 3 5 years experience in Data Architecture
- Organising and leading technical/data people for delivery of outputs or objectives
- Stakeholder relationship management
- 2 yrs. or more managing a team responsible for data products
- Experience in data support / data ops
- People management agile product development lifecycle
- Experience in the financial or banking sector
- Grade 12 National Certificate
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science
Knowledge of:
- Data management framework
- Software development life cycle
- Systems development life cycle
- Applicable regulatory requirements: CPA; POPI; FICA
- Agile product development lifecycle
- Data management framework
- Software development life cycle
- Systems development life cycle
- Applicable regulatory requirements: CPA; POPI; FICA
- Technical knowledge of Cloud based data systems
- AWS components and services
- Data warehousing concepts
