Job Description
Senior Project Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- National High School Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
- Graduate or qualified by experience
- Prince 2 Practitioner
Desirable:
- PMBOK Certification
- Experience in managing global or multisite IT infrastructure rollouts
- Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid IT environments
- Negotiation Skills Stakeholder management
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the endtoend deployment of Cisco networking equipment including switches routers firewalls and wireless solutions across multiple locations
- Develop and manage project plans ensuring milestones and deliverables are met within budget and on schedule
- Maintain and update Project Documentation such as: Business case; Project management plan; Project Charter
- Coordinate with internal IT teams vendors and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth installations and integrations
- Oversee risk management processes proactively identifying and mitigating deployment challenges
- Lead crossfunctional teams to take preventative (& corrective) action on any programmerelated issues and escalate as required to ensure client requirements and due dates are met
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company security policies
- Apply & assure endtoend Project Methodology and ensure highquality results
- Provide clear and timely communication to senior leadership on project progress risks and issues
- Manage and track project budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and resource optimization
- Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to internal teams for postdeployment support
- Conduct postimplementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance future rollouts
