Job Description
We are currently recruiting a skilled Draughtsperson on behalf of our client a reputable engineering solutions provider. The successful candidate will join a dynamic design team focused on delivering high-quality mechanical designs particularly within the pump and fluid handling sectors.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Produce fabrication assembly and general arrangement drawings for pumps and mechanical components.
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
- Revise existing drawings based on feedback and design updates.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and client specifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- A recognised Certificate in Technical Drawing/Draughting.
- 3 5 years of professional experience in a mechanical drafting/design role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
- Previous experience with pumps or rotating equipment is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies tolerances and fabrication processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
