- Detail design of substation primary plant equipment
- Draughting layout designs for HV substations (22kV 400kV)
- Draughting SLD key plans foundation and earthmat layout drawings section and elevation drawings steelwork marking plans etc.
- HV MV and LV reticulation drawings
- Complete drawing schedules BOQs and BOMs
- Design and draw electrical panels and wiring diagrams for projects
- Revise drawings and incorporate markups done by others
- Adhere to client standards and work methodologies related to drawings
- Maintain and update electronic drawings and documents
- Compile and organize templates drawing libraries and cells
- Track and monitor engineering and design changes
- Document management and control
- Adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System
- Participate in continuous improvement of processes and Quality Management System
- Develop capabilities in Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL)
- Provide project administration support
Required Skills and Experience:
- Valid South African driver s license with own transportation
- Fully computer literate with a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Highly skilled in Microstation and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Eskom distribution and transmission standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic 3D Drafting experience
Requirements
- Certificate in Electrical Draughting
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the design/draughting of MV/HV Power Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure
Desired Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Proficiency in solar system design, system analysis, and CAD software
