Job Description
An electrical engineering firm in Nelspruit is looking for an electrical project engineer
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for projects in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare technical specifications drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with clients contractors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress manage budgets and report on performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in a project engineering role preferably in electrical or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design installation and commissioning.
- Proficiency with CAD software and relevant design tools.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Optional: Professional certification e.g. PE license PMP certification.
