Job Description
- Install maintain and repair various types of industrial pumps and associated equipment.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and perform corrective action.
- Align and balance pump components to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate service records including job cards and maintenance logs.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams as required.
- Participate in standby and call-out duties when necessary.
- Qualified Millwright (Red Seal trade certificate).
- Minimum 35 years experience working on pumps and pumping systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Familiarity with VSDs motors seals bearings and other pump-related components.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
