Job Description
Job Title: Field Service Mechanic
Location: Johannesburg Gauteng
Working Hours: 07h00 to 17h00 (Overtime may be required)
Salary: Negotiable
Hire Resolves client is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Mechanic to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic with strong technical expertise the ability to work independently and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in the field.
Requirements:
- Qualified Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (Trade Tested)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with earthmoving and industrial equipment
- Knowledge of auto electrical systems will be a distinct advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management punctuality and administrative/paperwork skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair earthmoving and industrial equipment in the field
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs as required
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with safety standards
