Are you all about ensuring quality one test at a time Lead the way as Quality Assurance Specialist within the offshore asset management space.

You are a meticulous Quality Assurance professional with a passion for ensuring the safety and reliability of offshore assets. Please note: This is NOT a typical QA Inspector role. This is a strategic QA leadership position focused on planning oversight and quality governance. You will be the go-to expert for ensuring all NDT-related inspections documentation and reports meet rigorous industry standards. Your influence will directly impact the safety efficiency and performance of critical offshore assets including oil rigs and marine vessels.

What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)

As a Quality Assurance Specialist specialising in non-destructive testing youll spearhead efforts to safeguard the integrity and performance of offshore marine vessels and oil rigs. Your role will encompass managing and overseeing NDT inspections developing robust quality assurance protocols and conducting comprehensive risk assessments. Youll collaborate closely with engineers and technicians providing technical guidance training and mentorship to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with client specifications. With a focus on continuous improvement youll stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies optimising NDT procedures and workflows for enhanced efficiency and reliability.

What youll need

To excel in this role youll need a Qualification in Quality Assurance Engineering or a related field coupled with certification in non-destructive testing methods. Your minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance particularly in the oil and gas sector or heavy fabrication will be invaluable. Strong communication skills analytical prowess and proficiency in NDT equipment and software are essential. Additionally your deep understanding of industry standards and regulatory frameworks will ensure success in upholding the highest standards of integrity.
