Senior Associate – Banking & Finance Sandton
Are you a sharp solutions-driven Banking & Finance attorney ready to take the lead on high-impact transactions
Join a leading legal team handling complex cross-border finance deals – including structured finance project finance and commercial lending. We’re looking for a Senior Associate with strong technical expertise commercial instincts and the drive to grow within a high-performing practice.
What We’re Looking For:
- Admitted Attorney with an LLB degree
- 6 years post-admission experience in banking/finance law
- Solid exposure to project finance leveraged lending and restructuring
- A keen eye for detail and strong drafting/negotiation skills
- Confident managing large transactions and mentoring junior team members
- Comfortable advising on PFMA MFMA PPPs and regulatory frameworks
What You’ll Do:
- Lead on finance transactions from structuring to close
- Draft and negotiate finance and security documents
- Work directly with banks corporates and sponsors
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-border workstreams
- Drive client relationships and support business development
- Supervise and develop junior team members
