Job Description
Ooba is looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Clients growing technology team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining modern scalable CI/CD pipelines automating infrastructure and enhancing cloud-based deployments. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep technical knowledge a passion for efficiency and a collaborative mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build test and deployment workflows.
- Monitor software performance troubleshoot errors and develop proactive system reliability solutions.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and optimize for cost-efficiency scalability and performance.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to streamline deployments and resolve technical challenges.
- Automate routine tasks and system operations to enhance team productivity.
- Implement and maintain security best practices including automated compliance and secure code delivery.
- Support observability practices by integrating monitoring alerting and logging into all stages of delivery.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of API gateway configuration artifact management and build orchestration is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Min 3 years exp in the same or similar role.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions preferred).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform Ansible or similar.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (e.g. Prometheus Grafana Splunk ELK).
- Strong scripting capabilities in languages such as Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on automation and with cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure (AWS or GCP also valuable).
- Exposure to DevSecOps or experience integrating security into the CI/CD process.
- Experience working in Agile environments and understanding of Agile software delivery practices.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

5+ years as a Technical / IT Business Analyst / Systems Analyst / Integration Analyst Proven experience in system integration and data flow analysis Strong command of SQL, Power BI, and API technologies Understanding of ITIL, service management, and process mapping Excellent communication skills able to align stakeholders from tech to exec Financial services experience is a strong advantage
