Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations ensuring timely completion of service and repair jobs.
Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines including components such as transmissions drive axles differentials hydraulic systems brake systems steering systems
Disassemble equipment to facilitate major component removal for repairs.
Conduct in depth electrical diagnostics and intense repairs such as complete harness rebuilds
Refurbish customerowned units and used stock to high standards
Oversee a team of mechanics and technicians providing guidance training and performance management.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations company policies and industry best practices.
Manage workshop schedules and job allocations to optimize productivity.
Order and manage spare parts inventory ensuring costeffective stock control.
Perform quality checks on completed repairs and maintenance work.
Maintain accurate records of work completed parts used and customer service reports.
Liaise with customers and internal departments to provide updates and technical support.
Implement and improve workshop processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Grade 12
Forklift Mechanic Trade Test
Minimum 3 5 years of experience in the forklift industry with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Strong understanding of forklift mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in workshop management software and MS Office Suite is an advantage.
Valid driver s license required
