Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for a Junior PowerBI Executive to support the development and enhancement of Power BI reports. This role will work closely with developers and project managers to transform data into meaningful insights using SQL Python Django and Power BI. The ideal candidate will assist in building interactive dashboards performing data transformations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for business decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing developing and maintaining interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with data teams to extract transform and load (ETL) data using SQL and Python scripts.
Support data modelling efforts including creating and optimizing DAX expressions.
Help ensure data accuracy and performance across all reporting tools.
Participate in gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
Maintain documentation for report logic data sources and ETL processes.
Work collaboratively within a team environment and consistently meet deadlines.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of Power BI Desktop including report building and data modelling.
Proficiency in DAX or M language.
Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Handson experience with Python for data processing and automation.
Basic knowledge of Django will be beneficial.
Familiarity with database systems (e.g. SQL Server PostgreSQL).
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Information Technology Data Analytics or a related field.
12 years of experience working with Power BI or other BI platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
