Job Description
A defence company in Centurion is seeking a CNC Operator.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g. lathes and mills) safely and efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications
- Monitor the machine operations and adjust settings as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with tolerances
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and tooling
- Basic Math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Optional: Relevant certification or technical qualification
