Job Description
EDUCATION: Diploma/B-Tech Mechanical Engineering qualification or related field
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 -5 years experience preferably in the pumping industry specializing in mechanical seals and
rotating equipment
Mechanical seal sales and application
Computer Literacy; (Working knowledge of MS Word MS Excel and MS Outlook MS Project
SAP- advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Customer centric
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Time management
Prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain good working relationship with existing customers and develop new customers
- Knowledge of the design and operational requirements of mechanical seals pumps and other rotating equipment
- Maintain regular planned visits and communication with key customers in the area you support
- Conduct detailed product Demonstration to customer & generate enquiries for the product offered
- Provide technical support to customers and understand technicality of various sealing systems
- Educate customers on the quality features and uses of our products through the full use of KSB Pump and Valves marketing strategies
- Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with KSB Pumps and Valves sales objectives to support organizational goal
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customers needs and expectations are met
- Able to work independently efficiently and communicate productively with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to make sure customer needs are met
- Comply with and enforce all KSB Pumps & Valves (Pty) Ltd policies and procedures
- Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time
Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required
