- Expertise in solar PV battery storage energy modelling and grid studies
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams manage subcontractors and drive technical strategy
- Exceptional communication reporting and presentation skills
- Minimum 7 years in a senior technical/engineering role in the commercial solar PV or utility energy sector
- Proven experience in team and project management
- Lead & Inspire Teams: Drive a culture of technical excellence accountability and growth
- Design Oversight: Approve commercial PV/storage designs for quality cost and compliance
- Innovate & Optimize: Lead feasibility studies and apply value engineering to boost ROI
- Client Engagement: Support sales with strong proposals and clear technical presentations
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee all designs meet industry and regulatory standards managing grid integration
- Strategic Reporting: Deliver executive updates on project progress innovations and impact
- BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering (essential)
- ECSA registration (required)
- SAIEE membership and PV Green Card (advantageous)
