Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking a Junior Analyst to assist us with various functions of our corporate finance pillar. The candidate will be responsible for financial modelling financial analysis and evaluation research valuation post-transaction portfolio management support and value addition in line with the firms service offering.
Experience:
- Post Graduate Degree in Accounting Investments and/or Finance (or other if subsequent work experience in finance)
- Studying to become a Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience which may include:
- Knowledge of alternative investment strategies such as buyouts growth equity and BEE transactions;
- Exposure to private equity corporate finance investment banking leveraged finance transaction advisory or mergers and acquisitions;
- Strategy consulting which should include experience in valuation and due diligence corporate finance M&A and/or private equity transactions.
- Prior experience should include responsibilities for research complex analysis forecasting and valuation analysis of financial statements value driver analysis and modelling analytical business decision-making and report writing.
