Salary: 40497 - 55755 per annum

The Role

We are seeking to recruit four Lecturers (equivalent to Assistant Professors) working in the broad discipline of management. Areas that we are looking to recruit to are:

You will complement the Leadership Work and Organisation (LWO) Subject Groups existing management connection with this we would expect the successful candidate to undertake socially relevant and important research that forms a critical connection with your teaching and addresses current and future problems. We are seeking passionate researchers who look for opportunities to collaborate across management fields and disciplines.

You will be committed to the success and development of Newcastle University Business School. You will join a dynamic and vibrant Leadership Work and Organization Subject Group and a Business School that is committed to collegiality and academic citizenship. The LWO Subject Group is a globally connected locally rooted and compassionate community that embraces diversity and advances challenges of social justice through our research scholarship and engagement with partners to achieve a lasting impact from our management education. It covers the areas of Management and Organisation studies; Work Employment and HRM; and Strategy International Business and Society.

Your passion will come across in your teaching and support for the student experience at all levels. The University has developed anAcademic Job Summary Guidance document which summarises the range of activities that academic colleagues may be expected to perform.

For the position ofLecturer in Management / International Business / Ethics Responsibility and Sustainability you will evidence research activity and the potential to conduct research that demonstrates international standards of excellence in terms of originality significance and rigour and contribute to the research profile of the subject group.

You must have a PhD in a Management or a Management-relevant subject. Your previous experience and future contribution at Newcastle may include teaching undergraduate postgraduate and / or post-experience modules and capstone projects.
