Job Description

Our client in the service industry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager/Food and Beverage Manager to join their team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Negotiable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all food and beverage operations ensuring high standards of quality presentation and customer service.
  • Plan coordinate and execute catering functions and daily food service activities.
  • Lead train and supervise kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor inventory ordering and stock control of food beverages and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety hygiene and food quality standards.
  • Manage budgets control costs and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement menus in collaboration with the Head Chef considering seasonal trends and customer preferences.
  • Handle client interactions and maintain strong relationships to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Coordinate logistics for events including staffing equipment setup and service delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure continuous staff development.

  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and public holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management Catering Food & Beverage or related field.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene (preferred).
  • Computer literacy including MS Office and point-of-sale systems.
