- Overall management of the finance team.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Overseeing of the internal and external audit processes.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Presenting and reporting accurate and timely financial information of the company to the board and all stakeholders. This includes working on monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting organisational revenue/expense reporting.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Responsible for the companys overall financial health. Retain constant awareness of the companys financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Monitor banking activities of the organisation.
- Ensure adequate cash flow in place to meet the organisations needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies need to identify assess and respond to ongoing and emerging risks to the organisation by ensuring compliance with the growing number of regulations and laws.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
- Preparation of the Board Pack attending Board meetings as required and provide useful/necessary financial inputs on various parameters.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- An ACCA CA or equivalent certification (or working towards one)
- 5 Years Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Experience in the manufacturing/food processing industry is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
