We are looking for a Finance Clerk to join an FMCG company in Bulawayo.
Salary and Benefits:
Responsibilities:
- Daily Cash Receipting (Receipt books)
- Follows up and ensures bank queries and reconciling items are resolved.
- Cash Float/ Petty Cash issues & Google Sheet updates.
- Daily Cash receipt updates on SAGE Batch number updates.
- Assist in the management of Van Sales Accounts to ensure accounts are always updated.
- Customer debt follow ups
- Customer Statements and Reconciliations (Send out a balance confirmation and request for the updated reconciliation. Sign off on account)
- Processing of Customer Credit Notes.
- Supports Invoicing process implementation via collating and checking cycle documents before invoicing occurs.
- Conversion of Sales orders for customers into Invoices
- Customer Compliance follow ups based on instructions from the Compliance department.
- Support the stock controller in the implementation of stock counts.
Key Skills:
- 2 years experience in FMCG Industry.
- Must have good knowledge of Excel and PASTEL and work spreadsheets.
- Good with numbers and have good analytical skills.
- Experience in SAGE 300.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to follow procedures.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
- Must be able to deliver results against key targets.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
