Job Purpose:
Be responsible for internal and external events for AVANI Victoria Falls resort and Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara in order to achieve long term growth and brand leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop event plan and align with master marketing plan
- Assist Operation teams to organise and manage meetings and functions
- Deliver events on time within budget that meet (or exceed) expectations
- Set communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every event
- Build strategic business partners and manage the programmes effectively
- Manage supplier relationships event organiser partners press and related parties
- Provide leadership motivation direction and support to your team
- Be responsible for all project budgets from start to finish
- Meet with Operations team to discuss issues/concerns and support them to make the event operations excellence
- Conduct site inspections and create detailed event proposals for potential clients
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain a database of event suppliers and vendors
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials for events and conventions
- Implement postevent evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for all events
Qualifications :
- Certificate in Hospitality Management
- Minimum 5 years experiences in event management and Food & Beverage knowledge
- Proficiency in English communication presentation skills and computer literate.
