Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all workshop activities including maintenance and repair of farm vehicles machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and order spare parts and supplies
- Ensure all vehicles and machinery comply with safety legal and operational standards.
- Supervise train and evaluate workshop staff including mechanics and support personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of service history repairs costs and inventory in coordination with relevant stores.
- Ensure adherence to company policies health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare and present regular workshop performance reports to management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in an agricultural or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in managing teams budgets and workshop logistics.
- Strong knowledge of farm machinery trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Familiarity with health and safety compliance requirements.
