Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at a luxury safari lodge based in the breathtaking Limpopo region. This position offers the opportunity to work in a worldclass kitchen while enjoying the beauty and tranquillity of the South African bush.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences showcasing local and international cuisine with a refined creative touch.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cook and present dishes to the highest standards
Maintain a clean and organised workstation in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
Ensure food quality portion control and consistency across all meals
Contribute to the creation of daily menus and seasonal dishes
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef on menu development
Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where necessary
Assist with stock control storage and waste management
Adapt to dietary requirements and special requests with care and precision
Requirements:
Formal culinary qualification or relevant certificate
Minimum 2 3 years experience in a similar role ideally within a luxury lodge or fine dining environment
Strong understanding of food preparation kitchen hygiene and safety practices
Creativity and passion for producing highquality cuisine
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a remote setting
Team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays
