Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Administrator to plan inventory source and deliver.

Procurement Administrator responsibilities are:

Inventory Management

  • Plan hardware & software procurement and delivery
  • Manage inventory levels which include regular evaluation of stock for redundancy or pending redundancy
  • Monitor stock levels in all warehouses including branches and ensure stock levels are kept within allowed levels
  • Source alternative stock from contingency suppliers if required
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management review

Order stock

  • Quality control of order documents received from branches
  • Process Purchase Orders and send to international and local suppliers for delivery to Spinnaker branches
  • Update shared Procurement Excel Documents with stock allocations on Head Office stock
  • Evaluate and compare pricing from multiple vendors to secure the most costeffective and readily available POS equipment and supplies
  • Process Inter Branch Transfers for the Logistics Administrator to dispatch from Head Office stock
  • Liaise local supplier deliveries/collections with the branches
  • Place orders for asset requests or staff purchases
  • Assist with branch stock recons and perform final checks on stock take for all warehouses

Procurement Administrator requirements are:

  • 2 3 years of experience in supply chain or procurement
  • Good communication skills must be able to communicate well in English & understand Afrikaans.
  • Experience in preparing client landed cost estimates and quotations for projects
  • Ability to work with international suppliers and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to analyze costs and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Accounting package (Accpac or Pastel).
  • POS Hardware & Software knowledge and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
