Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Integration Developer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PHP development and system integration with a strong focus on creating seamless and efficient connections between different software applications. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problemsolving abilities and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and enhance PHPbased integration solutions to connect various software applications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand integration requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Implement APIs and web services to facilitate data exchange between systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues ensuring smooth and reliable system interactions.
- Optimize integration processes for performance scalability and security.
- Document integration processes technical specifications and system configurations.
- Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry best practices in system integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong focus on system integration.
- Proficiency in PHP including frameworks such as Laravel Symfony or Zend.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs as well as web services.
- Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
