Job Description
Location: Johannesburg (Onsite) Permanent Position
Role Summary:
The Divisional ICT Executive is a strategic leadership position focused on optimizing ICT systems to align with the organizations business objectives. This role is not operationally handson but is dedicated to guiding the overall ICT strategy and enhancing the teams capacity within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and develop an ICT team of 8 ensuring the implementation of the most effective systems to meet the companys needs.
- ICT Capacity Building: Drive improvements in the teams capacity to handle the organizations ICT requirements.
- System Management: Ensure the effective use and management of SYSPRO data processing and cybersecurity systems.
- Vendor Liaison: Manage and maintain strong relationships with ICT service providers to ensure highquality service delivery.
- Cybersecurity: Oversee the implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and systems.
- Manufacturing Focus: The role requires experience in a manufacturing environment as industryspecific knowledge is critical.
- DecisionMaking Support: Provide dashboards and analytics to support informed and effective business decisions.
- Cultural Fit: Seeking a selfstarter with a strong positive attitude who can analyze current systems and implement marketleading solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 15 years of strategic leadership in ICT with a preference for experience within the manufacturing sector.
- Personality: A strategic thinker with collaborative leadership skills focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
