GC Solar is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our Cape Town branch based at East Precinct Montague Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving technical sales across our full product range focusing on product specification new business development and project implementation for enduser clients in the electrical and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Proactively identify and engage with new clients
Maintain and grow strong relationships with contractors consultants and key industry stakeholders
Technical Sales & Product Specification
Prepare technical proposals tenders and quotations
Conduct onsite technical presentations and product demos
Represent GC Solar at industry events expos and customer meetings
Project & Client Management
Oversee project implementation ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance
Ensure technical requirements are met through accurate product specification
CRM & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of sales activities in GC Solar s CRM system
Submit regular performance and pipeline reports to management
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in a technical sales environment
Proven track record in product specification and projectbased sales
Experience in the South African electrical industry is a strong advantage
Skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Detailoriented with accurate administrative and reporting habits
Additional Requirements
Valid driver s license and own vehicle
Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required
Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
What We Offer
Base salary: R25000 R 35000 /month
Commission based on performance
