Job Description
- Support artisans ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance / project execution.
- Prepare materials needed for various maintenance / projects ensuring the right tools and supplies are readily available.
- Create works order using Maintenance Connection.
- Assist in the execution of work orders and other procedural plant equipment repairs.
- Dispose unwanted articles/scrap in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
- Maintain workshop Storage of spares and working tools.
- Maintain and repair plant and yard areas Signage.
- Assist in incident investigations
- Ensure that all safety standards are maintained during and post job execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12
- Level 2 Learnership (NQF 2) / N2 Mechanical
- Minimum six months experience as Artisan Aide
- Computer Literacy
- Must be familiar with power tools and hand tools
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and elevated positions
- Must be able to perform standby duties and work overtime as and when required.
