A well-established organisation based in Midrand is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer / Tender Administrator to manage and support tender processes and supplier engagement. This position is ideal for a mature experienced candidate with strong tender administration skills and a solid procurement background.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full tender administration process including bid preparation submission and evaluation coordination.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and applicable regulations.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value quality and service.
Coordinate and compile tender documentation in accordance with company standards.
Evaluate supplier bids and support decision-making through comparative analysis.
Maintain accurate records of tenders and supplier interactions.
Provide general support to the procurement function ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Requirements:
BCom Degree or higher in Procurement Business Administration or a related field.
Strong experience in tender administrationbid evaluation and supplier liaison.
Knowledge of private-sector procurement practices.
Excellent organisational communication and time-management skills.
High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook).
