RPOs client is seeking a detail-driven and highly organised Purchasing Co-Ordinator to join their supply chain team based in Ottery Cape Town. This individual will report directly to the Purchasing Manager and play a key role in managing purchase orders maintaining supplier documentation and supporting procurement operations across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create track and update purchase orders accurately using Syspro.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding order confirmations delivery updates and invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintain a structured filing system for all purchasing documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and confirm processing with relevant teams.
- Maintain up-to-date product and supplier data including certifications and specifications.
- Coordinate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and track resolutions.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing administrative procurement assistance and clear communication.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric required; a qualification in Business Administration is advantageous.
- 35 years experience in purchasing procurement or supply chain administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Syspro experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills across written verbal and digital platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative proactive and confident in managing supplier relationships.
