Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Manager Production for a prestigious luxury wine estate based in Franschhoek. This position is ideal for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in production or manufacturing and who thrives in a dynamic high-end environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in finance accounting or a related field
Professional qualification (e.g. CA(SA) CIMA ACCA) preferred
Minimum of five years experience in financial management ideally within a production or manufacturing setting
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations cost accounting and financial reporting
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Fluent in Afrikaans and English both written and spoken
Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the financial reporting process for production operations
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other relevant financial regulations
Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies
Prepare and analyse budgets forecasts and financial models
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Analyse cost structures and introduce effective cost-reduction strategies
Ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation
Optimise working capital including accounts payable and receivable
Ensure compliance with tax and VAT legislation and internal company policies
Lead and mentor the production finance team
Collaborate with production procurement and operational teams to improve financial performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
