Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity for energetic individuals with a passion for the insurance industry to join our clients team in Bellville. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as managing insurance policies handling customer service inquiries registering and following up insurance claims and collaborating with the team to ensure excellent service levels.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Policy Management: Maintain accurate records of insurance policies ensuring timely renewals cancellations or modifications as needed.
  • Claims Processing: Register new insurance claims gather necessary documentation from clients and follow up on claims to ensure timely resolution.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries related to insurance policies claims and coverage options providing clear and accurate information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to streamline workflows share updates on claims and address any challenges in providing excellent customer service.
  • Compliance: Ensure all claims and policy changes adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update client records in internal systems ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on claim statuses policy updates and customer service metrics to management.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Diploma in Short-term insurance will be to your advantage
  • 3 5 years experience in short-term insurance claims administration
  • Experience with Discovery Insure and Santam will be to your advantage
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Insurance and Claims Management skills
  • Finance knowledge and Customer Service experience
  • Strong Organisation Skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in the financial services industry is essential
