Job Description
Hire Resolves client a well-established and reputable professional quantity surveying consultancy specialising in private sector developments is currently seeking three experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in commercial and mixed-use construction projects and thrive in a high-performance client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Provide full quantity surveying services across various commercial and mixed-use developments
Prepare cost estimates bills of quantities tender documentation and financial reports
Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for new developments
Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure cost efficiency
Liaise with contractors clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
Administer contracts and assist in dispute resolution
Ensure compliance with local building regulations and quality standards
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience in private sector construction projects
Experience within a professional quantity surveying consultancy is essential
Demonstrated expertise in commercial and mixed-use developments
Strong knowledge of local construction contracts and procurement methods
Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office
SACQSP registration (PrQS) is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
