Job Description
- Apply engineering principles to design and develop software test scripts.
- Play a crucial role in identifying software bugs and issues before end-users encounter them.
- Drive the software regression lifecycle within an Agile framework.
- Develop and execute automated UI and functional test scripts.
- Manage individual tasks effectively using Jira.
- Maintain and update existing test scripts.
- Analyse batch reports and communicate failures to relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up with stakeholders to resolve outstanding queries.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of their requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems within the automated testing toolset.
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial.
- 1 year plus of experience in automation testing.
- Moderate JavaScript proficiency: capable of writing functions for Puppeteer scripts.
- Intermediate experience with Gitlab VS Code JSON Jira and Linux.
- Knowledge of Puppeteer is advantageous.
