Job Description
We re looking for a visionary AI & Data Product Manager to shape and deliver cutting-edge solutions that drive business growth and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI product development with a leading tech powerhouse.
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for AI and data-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into data and AI product requirements.
- Prioritize features and use cases based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with data scientists engineers and UX teams to build scalable products.
- Manage the lifecycle of AI/ML models from development to deployment and monitoring.
- Ensure ethical AI practices including fairness transparency and compliance.
- Define and track product KPIs and success metrics.
- Drive stakeholder alignment and communicate product strategy and progress.
- Oversee data quality governance and integration with enterprise systems.
- Coordinate A/B testing model retraining and performance optimization.
- Ensure security privacy and regulatory compliance (e.g. POPIA in South Africa).
- Lead product documentation training and user adoption initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts data pipelines and analytics.
- Experience with product management tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL Python and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Ability to write clear product requirements and user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with MLOps model monitoring and version control.
- Knowledge of data governance security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI Tableau or Looker.
- Passion for innovation user-centric design and responsible AI.
